Our History

The story of G.V. Florida Transport, Incorporated began with a vision to provide dependable and comfortable transportation to communities across Northern Philippines. Founded by Virgilio Florida Sr., the company started its journey in 1970 under the name Florida Liner. From its roots in Barangay Matucay, Allacapan, Cagayan, the company gradually grew from a family-run transportation business into one of the major bus companies serving Northern Philippines.

About Us

In 1999, the company was formally incorporated as G.V. Florida Transport, Incorporated, with the next generation of the Florida family, including George Florida and Virgilio Florida Jr., becoming part of its management. The name G.V. Florida was derived from their initials, representing the continuing legacy of the Florida family.

Known for its distinctive pink buses with floral livery, G.V. Florida expanded its services from Cagayan to major destinations across the Cagayan Valley, Ilocos Region, and Metro Manila. Through acquisitions and route expansions, the company continued to connect more communities throughout Northern Luzon.

G.V. Florida also made history as the first Philippine bus company to introduce the Sleeper Bus Class, setting a new standard for comfort in long-distance bus travel.

Today, G.V. Florida continues the legacy of its founder by providing safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation, along with bus chartering services for individuals, organizations, and corporations.

Will I receive a confirmation after booking?

Yes, you will receive a booking confirmation via your GV Florida account, via email, or SMS once payment is successful. Please save this confirmation, download or screenshot your reservation voucher.

How do I book a bus ticket online?

You can easily book your ticket by following these steps: 1. Search for your preferred bus type. 2. Choose your origin and destination and desired travel date. 3. Select your preferred schedule and seat. 4. Pay via our secure payment gateway. 5. You will receive your e-voucher immediately in your account.

Do I need to print my voucher?

Printed copy is nice! But you can also simply show your e-voucher at the terminal. Make sure to bring a valid ID.

Can I pay using GCash, or other e-wallets?

Yes! We accept payments via GCash and other supported e-wallets and bank transfers.
